About me

Hi, I'm Narahari Raghava, a cybersecurity engineer dedicated to solving complex problems and ensuring digital security. My journey in the field of cybersecurity has been fueled by a love for technology and a relentless drive to stay ahead of emerging threats. I specialize in cloud security, focusing on protecting cloud-based environments with advanced tools and practices. I believe in proactive security measures and continuous learning. Staying updated with the latest technologies and threat landscapes is crucial. My approach is not just about addressing current issues but anticipating future challenges.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." - Albert Einstein

This quote drives my commitment to add real value through my work.

Beyond my professional life, I am an avid sports enthusiast. Football holds a special place in my heart, and I am a die-hard Real Madrid fan. In the fast-paced world of Formula 1, I cheer for Red Bull Racing. The blend of speed, strategy, and cutting-edge technology in F1 fascinates me. When I'm not immersed in cybersecurity or watching sports, I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities, playing sports and exploring new places. I also have a keen interest in tech gadgets and enjoy exploring the latest innovations.

I am always open to connecting with fellow professionals, sports enthusiasts, and anyone interested in cybersecurity and cloud. Feel free to reach out to me for discussions, or just a friendly chat about the latest in football and F1.

Projects

Secure Portfolio

  • Created a portfolio website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Deployed the website on GitHub as the repository and set up automated updates with AWS CodePipeline to an Amazon S3 bucket. The files in the bucket are encrypted using Amazon S3 managed keys (SSE-S3).
  • The code goes through Semgrep for vulnerability assessment and JSLint for code analysis in the static analysis phase of the AWS CodePipeline.
  • Secured and optimized the website by registering a custom domain with AWS Route 53, implementing AWS CloudFront for content delivery and utilizing edge computing, and obtaining an SSL certificate from AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) to enable secure connection for data-in-transit.

Data Analysis of My Daily Activity

  • Collected one month's worth of daily activity data from a tracking device (watch) and stored it in an Amazon S3 bucket.
  • Utilized Amazon Athena to perform data analysis, employing SQL queries to extract valuable insights from the collected data.
  • Employed Amazon QuickSight to create a range of graphical visualizations, facilitating the effective representation and communication of findings from the tracking device's data analysis.

AWS Infrastructure Automation with Terraform

  • Utilized Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles for efficient AWS cloud infrastructure management.
  • Developed multiple Terraform templates to define AWS resources and configurations in code format.
  • Achieved enhanced automation, repeatability, and version control by using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, modification, and scaling in AWS.
